In April 2023, an exciting opportunity came knocking on my virtual doorstep, offering me a chance to explore my creativity while contributing to a meaningful cause. I discovered a virtual craft-along event by Craft for Cats—a chance to learn the art of quilling from none other than Rachel, the talented artist behind The Quirky Quillers. Little did I know that this experience would not only introduce me to the captivating world of quilling but also weave together threads of relaxation, creativity, and compassion.

With the event aimed at raising vital funds for Cats Protection, an organisation close to my heart, I signed up. I’d never been particularly interested in crafting per se but the thought of making a positive impact on the lives of cats in need resonated deeply with me.
