Avant-premières

When Creative Bubbles launched their debut avant-première the experience was more like receiving a handwritten note than a newsletter. It was something personal, layered, and worth returning to.

At its heart were four new works Black IceMagentaCœur éclaté, and La Tempesta—poems written in English, French, and Italian, each one illustrated with striking original art. But what made the drop so memorable wasn’t just the language or the craft. It was the emotional honesty that cut through.

Black Ice captured that moment we all know—the fall you couldn’t prevent, no matter how careful you were. Magenta pulsed with longing, coloured by what was wanted but never said aloud. Cœur éclaté delivered the sting of a moment gone too far, where words fail and everything shifts. La Tempesta stood like a reckoning, a woman facing herself in the storm’s aftermath. Each piece brought something distinct, yet together they felt like fragments of a shared human story.

The flipbook itself was elegant and unfussy. But there was more to it than poetry and pictures. The email also introduced a few changes that marked a new chapter for Creative Bubbles.

The website has been updated, and it now offers something that many poetry or art platforms don’t, real choice in how you engage. Visitors can now browse by artwork, by poem title, or explore the paired works side by side. It’s a simple change, but it matters. It lets you wander, follow your curiosity, and find the pieces that speak to you most.

Another welcome addition was the invitation to help shape what comes next. Subscribers were asked to share suggestions for future themes—an idea that doesn’t just flatter the audience, it genuinely includes them. This felt less like a content drop and more like the start of a conversation.

And then there’s the philosophy behind it all. Creative Bubbles isn’t powered by product or profit. It’s powered by friendship, creativity, and the desire to share something meaningful. No paywall, no push. Just illustrated poetry that dares to be both accessible and emotionally rich.

If you missed the first avant-première, that’s a shame. The works will be published on the website towards the end of June. In the meantime, if you want to be among the first to receive the next one, there’s an easy way to join in.
